Behind the track: Dunn Kidda - Laanie Levels

Dunn Kidda produced ‘Laanie Level’ as an interlude for his first Red Bull Studios Cape Town EP, ‘The Space’ EP, but it turned out to be the track that got the most attention. Experimenting with a future-kwaito sound that was inspired by Okmalumkoolkat & Riky Rick’s ‘Amantombazane’ but not as dark, this production sees Dunn Kidda experimenting with softer sounds and ambient effects.
